this is a procrastination journal, and a mind dump so it will probably make absolutely no sense.

you have been warned

I am about to (hopefully) finish my alst assessment for the semester, however i have 400 words to go, rough 200 of wich will be a well planned conclusion *cough well planned cough*, but have run out of paragraphs. this happens every time and makes me extremly angry esp as the minute i think of one thing i will think of five million others wich are also obviously vital for me too put in. I feel like i am yet again missing things, but am at a loss to work out were from or how to include them.

on a more positive note i have finally decided (for now anyaway) on post this degree. i have a 'wish list' and a 'littler wish list'
both as usual ridiclous

wish list
-do my honours
-do an arts degree including the following : Sociology, History, Statistics (yes thats right it would kill me but be very useful. . .wooohoo for the undead!) and what ever else fancies me at the time, it's likely to change!
-get into the Vic Gov Graduates program, you get 'hired' and get to go around to at leats two departments and get trainnign there as well as dooing theoretical work, you also get paid and at the end of the year get a job with the Vic Gov. . .problem beeing that they only take 150 ppl a year and i would be competting against other policy / social science students, arts students, economics students and buissness students (heavens only knows why buissness ppl would go into gov for policy making but there you go).

- Then once i'm fairly established and have annoyed everyone by beeing part of the confusing beurocracy i want to join a aid/advocacy organisation and annoy the beaurocracy i used to belong to

- then i want to finally publish independant analysis of research in books and journals

this is all rather far fetched , i think that up to the arts degree its doable, however from there it's tricksy

the rantful adventures of tin tin

also, tintin got his nails cut, i am now pretty much re trainning him. when i arrived at the vet he was nice enough to tell me that cannaries are known for having dicky hearts, and he had a lady in with her budgie, wich have better hearts and stress coping abilities than canaries, and the budgie had a heartattck in this ladies hand because it was beeing held. . . tin tin does not like people touching him, he will sit on you but no touchy!!!

i was a tad worried, i had to catch him and luckily he survived but his poor heart was a racing, his whole body was throbbing in time with it, and he now is extra warry of me ontop of this he will need his nails trimmed some how roughly every 3months, i bought him a rough perch so hopefully that wears them down!


he also made a very ammusing escape attempt when i was cleanign his cage on friday.
i pull the metal bars off of the plastic bottom of his cage to clean it, and he sits in the barred bit on newspaper, i leave the door of his cage open so he can perch on his plastic cage bottom while i'm dooing other stuff and also so i can wipe his bars down, he likes to help me by sittiing on my arm when i remove and replace his 'furniture' and on what ever is drying/about to be cleaned

any way i got the bars back on the cage and he decided to perch on the door opening, no big deal he just like is there, then he decides to sit out of his cage completly on the floor by my kneees, fine , then he dicides he wants to go for a walk to the closed laundry door. . .not so fine. to get him to go where i need him i place one of his perches at his tummy and he hops on then i carry him taht way, so i do this he hops on quiet happily then realises i am going to put him bacj in his cage so he jumps off and camly resumes his waddle to the door and gb between it and the floor to let air in. . .it took me three goes and i had to literally rest my finger against his chest to stop him jumping of the edge of his cage door again . . . i love him. . .tin tin the explorer!!!
